Mouse Bone Morphogenetic Protein 8B ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Bone Morphogenetic Protein 8B (OP-2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, using a biotinylated anti-OP-2 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <6.1 pg/ml and the assay range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery in serum (n=5) was 84%-102% (average 93%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 91%-100% (average 95%), and in heparin plasma (n=5) 92%-98% (average 95%). Dilution linearity for serum (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 90-103%, 77-108%, 86-93% and 91-106%; for EDTA plasma (n=5) 80-104%, 89-93%, 86-110% and 76-103%; and for heparin plasma (n=5) 90-96%, 85-108%, 88-100% and 90-103%.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
