Mouse Bone Morphogenetic Protein 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Bone Morphogenetic Protein 2 (BMP2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) together with a biotinylated anti-BMP2 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <36.23 pg/ml with a standard curve covering 78.1–5000 pg/ml, and the complete protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated.

Recovery has been characterised for serum (80%–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81%–100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80%–89%, average 84%, n=5), and dilution linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types.
