Mouse Bone Morphogenetic Protein 10 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse BMP10 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. Distributed by Antibodies.com, the assay employs pre-coated 96-well microplate strips (12 x 8 well strips) and a biotinylated anti-BMP10 detection antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction is stopped with acidic stop solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader; the concentration of BMP10 is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is 0.057 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

In validation testing (n=5), average recovery was 91% for serum (range 83–100%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 90–103%) and 95% for heparin plasma (range 89–102%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was demonstrated for serum (ranges 83–110%, 79–100%, 90–98%, 82–108%), EDTA plasma (90–98%, 90–105%, 73–109%, 87–91%) and heparin plasma (88–103%, 77–105%, 95–98%, 87–110%).
