Mouse Bone Morphogenetic Protein 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Bone Morphogenetic Protein 1 (BMP1/PCP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. Standards and samples are added to the wells of a pre-coated microplate, followed by a biotinylated anti-BMP1/PCP antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate.

After incubation with TMB substrate and addition of stop solution, absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. The assay has a stated sensitivity of 30 pg/ml and a detection range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported spike-and-recovery averages from undiluted samples (n=5) range from 84% in heparin plasma to 91% in serum, with EDTA plasma averaging 90%. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
