Mouse BMP Binding Endothelial Regulator ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse BMP Binding Endothelial Regulator (BMPER) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) to which a BMPER-specific antibody has been immobilised, with a biotinylated anti-BMPER detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate used to generate a colour change that is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The colourimetric assay has a sensitivity of 0.054 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. Kit components include the pre-coated plate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as indicated on the individual items. The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.

Reported recovery values average 91% in serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (n=5) is reported as 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.
