Mouse B-Lymphocyte Chemoattractant 1 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides this sandwich ELISA kit for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse B Lymphocyte Chemoattractant 1 (BCA1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The quantitative measurement range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <5.9 pg/ml, and the complete assay requires approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate format with detection based on HRP enzymatic activity visualised using a TMB substrate.

The procedure follows a standard sandwich immunoassay: standards and samples are added to antibody-coated wells, captured BCA1 is bound by a biotinylated anti-BCA1 antibody, and HRP-Avidin conjugate catalyses the colour change from blue to yellow after addition of stop solution. The concentration of BCA1 in each well is calculated from the O.D. absorbance against a standard curve. Reported spike-recovery values are 80–102% for serum, 81–100% for EDTA plasma and 80–89% for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
