Mouse B-Cell Activation Factor Receptor ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse B Cell Activation Factor Receptor (BAFF-R) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate platform configured as 12 x 8 well strips and is read colorimetrically at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Reported performance: assay range 3.12–200 pg/ml, sensitivity <1.56 pg/ml, total assay time approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery in sample matrices (n=5) is 80–102% with an average of 91% for serum, 81–100% with an average of 90% for EDTA plasma and 80–89% with an average of 84% for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 is 74–108% across the same three sample types (n=5 each).

The procedure uses a biotinylated anti-BAFF-R detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate; absorbance of the resulting yellow product at 450 nm is proportional to BAFF-R concentration. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
