Mouse Autoimmune Regulator ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, this kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Autoimmune Regulator (AIRE) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for AIRE, with detection via a biotinylated anti-AIRE antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and is proportional to the amount of AIRE captured in each well.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been characterised in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%; n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, average 90%; n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%; n=5). Dilution linearity has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5).

The assay platform is a pre-coated microplate supplied in a 12 x 8 well strip configuration. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
