Mouse Atrial Natriuretic Peptide ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of mouse Natriuretic Peptides A in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to wells coated with an antibody specific for Natriuretic Peptides A. After incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-Natriuretic Peptides A detection antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The HRP reaction produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of Natriuretic Peptides A is calculated against the standard curve.

Performance characteristics include a measuring range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 31 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery in serum (n=5) averages 91% (range 80-102%), in EDTA plasma averages 90% (range 81-100%), and in heparin plasma averages 84% (range 80-89%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed; the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
