Mouse ATPase, Na+/K+ Transporting Alpha 2 Polypeptide ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, this kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse ATP1A2 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for ATP1A2 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added, and a Biotinylated Anti-ATP1A2 Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate are used for detection. TMB substrate produces a colour change that is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with the concentration of ATP1A2 calculated against a standard curve.

The assay has a sensitivity of <0.042 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. It runs on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a total assay time of 4h 30m, and detection is colourimetric. The kit includes a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 μl), Wash Buffer 30X (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml), and 5 adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.

Reported recovery values for spiked samples (n=5) are 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%–101% (average 91%) for EDTA plasma, and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. The product is intended for research use only.
