Mouse ATPase, Ca++ Transporting, Plasma Membrane 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Calcium Pump PMCA2 ATPase in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. It employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using an antibody specific for Calcium Pump PMCA2 ATPase that is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Calcium Pump PMCA2 ATPase Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a standard range of 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values across sample matrices are serum 80–102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma 81–101% (average 91%, n=5) and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%, n=5). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
