Mouse Ataxia Telangiectasia Mutated ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this assay is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse ATM in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. It employs the sandwich immunoassay technique using a pre-coated microplate, a Biotinylated Anti-ATM detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow colour measured at 450 nm.

Performance figures quoted in the product literature include a sensitivity of 5.6 pg/ml and an assay range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml. Reported average recovery values across n=5 samples were 91% for serum (range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%). The total assay time is 4h 30m and the kit is read on a colourmetric microplate reader; components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
