Mouse Asporin ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Asporin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Asporin, with bound analyte detected using a biotinylated anti-Asporin antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.059 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. In spiked recovery testing (n=5), average recoveries were 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Linearity was demonstrated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum (87-107%), EDTA plasma (79-108%) and heparin plasma (82-105%).
