Mouse Arginine Vasopressin Receptor 1B ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse arginine vasopressin receptor 1B (AVPR1B) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The kit is suitable for Mouse samples and is configured as a colourimetric assay run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

An antibody specific for AVPR1B is pre-coated onto the plate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells; bound AVPR1B is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-AVPR1B Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution. Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.071 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, and an assay time of 4 h 30 m. Recovery testing (n=5) yielded averages of 91% for serum (range 83%–100%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 90%–98%), and 95% for heparin plasma (range 89%–102%). Linearity-of-dilution testing showed parallel results across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
