Mouse Apolipoprotein H ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Apolipoprotein H (Apo-H) in serum, plasma, saliva or other biological fluids. The assay employs an antibody specific for Apo-H pre-coated onto a microplate, with bound target detected using a Biotinylated Anti-Apo-H Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate visualises the enzymatic reaction, producing a yellow product whose absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to the amount of Apo-H captured in each well.

Detection is colourimetric on a pre-coated microplate platform. The quantitative assay range is 3.12–200 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 1.42 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the kit expiration date.

Validation data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5). Average recoveries are 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is also reported for all three sample types.
