Mouse Antithrombin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Antithrombin III (ATIII) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate with an immobilised capture antibody, a biotinylated anti-ATIII detection antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The HRP reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a standard curve range of 0.937–60 ng/ml, a sensitivity of <0.46 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Reported average recovery across five samples is 91% from serum (range 80–102%), 90% from EDTA plasma (range 81–99%), and 84% from heparin plasma (range 80–89%).
