Mouse Annexin A5 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Annexin V/ANXA5 in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using an antibody specific for Annexin V/ANXA5 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Annexin V/ANXA5 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and the concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is 5.8 pg/ml and the assay range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery in serum is 91% (range 80%-102%, n=5), in EDTA plasma 90% (range 81%-100%, n=5), and in heparin plasma 84% (range 80%-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
