Mouse Angiotensinogen ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Angiotensinogen in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The protein target, also referenced as AGT, Serpin A8 and SERPINA8, is captured by an antibody pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Bound Angiotensinogen is detected using a biotinylated anti-Angiotensinogen antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow-coloured product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 0.625–40 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.226 ng/mL, and the total run time is 4 hours 30 minutes. In spike-and-recovery testing (n=5), serum samples returned 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%–100% (average 90%) and heparin plasma 80%–89% (average 84%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed in the protocol, and the kit should not be used after the stated expiration date.
