The kit uses a sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and samples are added to wells pre-coated with antibody specific for Angiotensin II; bound analyte is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Angiotensin II Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported product range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 9.16 pg/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.
