Mouse Angiotensin I Converting Enzyme 2 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers this sandwich ELISA for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Angiotensin I Converting Enzyme 2 (ACE2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Standards and samples are added to wells pre-coated with an ACE2-specific antibody; bound ACE2 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-ACE2 Antibody, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The resulting yellow colour intensity is proportional to ACE2 concentration and is quantified against a standard curve.

Quantitative performance: product range 62.5-4000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 24.4 pg/ml. Reported mean recovery is 91% in serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is reported for serum (n=5) as 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97%; for EDTA plasma (n=5) as 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108%; and for heparin plasma (n=5) as 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91%.
