Mouse Angiostatin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA (sELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Angiostatin in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using an antibody specific for Angiostatin that is pre-coated onto a microtiter plate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and Angiostatin present in each sample is bound by the immobilized antibody. After incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Angiostatin Antibody binds the captured Angiostatin, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate solution. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the density of yellow proportional to the amount of Angiostatin captured. Concentration is calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader against the standard curve.

The kit has a sensitivity of <0.065 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. It uses a pre-coated microplate platform with colourmetric detection, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported sample recovery is: serum 80%-102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma 81%-100% (average 90%, n=5), and heparin plasma 80%-89% (average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions are also provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. The kit is suitable for use with serum and plasma.

Components supplied include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers.
