Mouse Angiogenin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Angiogenin in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. A specific capture antibody for Angiogenin is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-Angiogenin detection antibody, then HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and quantified against a standard curve.

The kit has a sensitivity of less than 0.107 ng/ml and a measurable range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery was validated in mouse serum (n=5, average 91%, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (n=5, average 91%, range 81–101%) and heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%, range 80–89%). Linearity was demonstrated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed in the protocol manual, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
