Mouse Amyloid Beta Precursor Like Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse APLP1 (Amyloid Beta Precursor Like Protein 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate; standards and test samples are added, APLP1 is captured by an immobilised antibody, and detection is achieved using a Biotinylated Anti-APLP1 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colourmetric microplate reader and the concentration of APLP1 is calculated against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is 0.059 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date. Sample recovery was evaluated in five replicates, giving averages of 91% for serum (range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 87%–91%, 87%–107%, 74%–101% and 92%–97% respectively for serum (n=5); 90%–105%, 84%–101%, 90%–101% and 79%–108% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 84%–95%, 92%–105%, 82%–105% and 89%–91% for heparin plasma (n=5).
