Mouse Alpha-Endorphin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse alpha Endorphin in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format (12 x 8 well strips) and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

Quantitative performance is supported by an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 3.85 pg/ml. The total assay time is 2h 30m. During incubation, alpha Endorphin present in samples or standards competes with the immobilized antigen for binding to a Biotinylated Anti-alpha Endorphin Antibody; signal is then generated via HRP-Avidin conjugate and an acidic stop reaction, producing a yellow product whose density is inversely proportional to analyte concentration. The concentration of alpha Endorphin is calculated by referring absorbance to a standard curve.
