Mouse Alpha-2-Plasmin Inhibitor ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse alpha 2 Antiplasmin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) with a Biotinylated Anti-alpha 2 Antiplasmin Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate for detection. The HRP enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is measured at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of <27 pg/ml and an assay range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery values are 80%-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80%-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Dilution linearity is reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
