Mouse Alpha-2-Heremans Schmid Glycoprotein ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Alpha-2-Heremans Schmid Glycoprotein (AHSG). The kit is reactive with mouse samples and is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Quantitation is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) using a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The assay uses a biotinylated anti-AHSG detection antibody in conjunction with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with the enzymatic reaction producing a blue colour that converts to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. Reported assay performance includes a product range of 9.38-600 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <3.64 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4h 30m. Validation data reported in the manufacturer's literature describe recovery ranges for serum (80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80%-89%, average 84%) in undiluted samples, alongside dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across each of the three matrices.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
