Mouse Alpha-2-Glycoprotein 1, Zinc Binding ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Zinc alpha 2 Glycoprotein in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for the target protein. Standards and samples are added to the wells and bound by the immobilised antibody, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-Zinc alpha 2 Glycoprotein detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a sensitivity of 0.48 ng/ml and a quantitative assay range of 1.25–80 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported mean recoveries are 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Linearity across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 falls between 74–107% in serum, 79–108% in EDTA plasma, and 82–105% in heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.
