Mouse Alpha-1-Acid Glycoprotein ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse alpha 1 Acid Glycoprotein/AGP in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and employs a biotinylated detection antibody with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader, with the concentration of AGP calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The reported product range is 62.5-4000 ng/ml and sensitivity is 19.3 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Sample types suitable for the assay include serum, plasma, cell lysates, tissue homogenates and cell culture supernates.

Reported recovery ranges (n=5) are: serum 80% – 102% (average 91%); EDTA plasma 81% – 100% (average 90%); heparin plasma 80% – 89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% respectively for serum (n=5); 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma (n=5).
