Mouse Aldehyde Dehydrogenase 9 Family, Member A1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse ALDH9A1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a Biotinylated Anti-ALDH9A1 detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. The colourmetric, quantitative assay has a sensitivity of <0.066 ng/ml and a range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m.

Kit components include a Pre-Coated 96 Well Microplate, Lyophilized Standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and Plate Sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Required materials not supplied include a microplate reader capable of measuring absorbance at 450 nm ± 10 nm, a 37°C incubator, and standard pipettes, reservoirs and tubes.

Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 91% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-101%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5). Across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, recovery ranges are 87-107% for serum, 84-108% for EDTA plasma and 82-105% for heparin plasma. The kit is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
