Mouse Albumin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Albumin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The Mouse Albumin ELISA Kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a colorimetric detection method, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <63 ng/ml with a measuring range of 156–10000 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date. Detection employs a biotinylated anti-albumin antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the yellow product intensity is proportional to albumin concentration and quantified against a standard curve.

Spike-and-recovery has been evaluated (n=5): serum 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%) and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity has been characterised at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
