Mouse Activating Transcription Factor 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Activating Transcription Factor 3 (ATF3) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and uses a pre-coated microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a microplate reader; the intensity of colour produced is proportional to the amount of ATF3 captured per well.

The assay has a reported range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.063 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Standards and samples are added to the pre-coated wells where ATF3 binds the immobilised antibody; the wells are then washed and incubated with a biotinylated anti-ATF3 detection antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Visualisation uses TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow on addition of acidic stop solution. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
