Mouse Acid Phosphatase 2, Lysosomal ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) distributed by Antibodies.com for the quantitative in vitro measurement of mouse Acid Phosphatase (lysosomal) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with absorbance read colorimetrically at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a stated sensitivity of 0.37 U/L and an assay range of 0.781–50 U/L, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The protocol uses a biotinylated anti-Acid Phosphatase detection antibody in combination with an HRP–avidin conjugate, and the colour intensity is proportional to Acid Phosphatase concentration as determined against a standard curve.

Reported spike-and-recovery values (n=5) average 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Linearity has been evaluated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each of the three sample types. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated on the individual vials, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
