Mouse Acetyl Coenzyme A Carboxylase Alpha ELISA Kit

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Acetyl Coenzyme A Carboxylase alpha in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for the target. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-Acetyl Coenzyme A Carboxylase alpha detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the reaction, producing a yellow-coloured product read at 450 nm; concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The kit reports a product range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.113 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Detection is colorimetric on a microplate reader platform, and the kit is noted as suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates. Recovery and linearity-of-dilution data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
