Mouse Acetyl Coenzyme A Acetyltransferase 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse ACAT2/Acetyl-CoA Acetyltransferase in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) together with a biotinylated anti-ACAT2/Acetyl-CoA Acetyltransferase antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The standard curve spans 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.047 ng/ml, and the complete assay runs in 4 h 30 m. Kit components should be stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.

Recovery has been validated in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%), with linearity assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for each sample matrix.
