Mouse Acetyl Coenzyme A Acetyltransferase 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Acetyl Coenzyme A Acetyltransferase 1 (ACAT1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for ACAT1, with detection performed colorimetrically by reading absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit provides a quantitative measurement range of 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.052 ng/ml, and the complete assay can be performed in 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at either +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X concentrate), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers.

Validation data demonstrate recovery rates averaging 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.
