Mouse 17-Beta-Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenase Type 10 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse ERAB (17-Beta-Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenase Type 10) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate format in which an immobilised anti-ERAB antibody captures target from standards and samples, followed by a biotinylated anti-ERAB detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance figures include a measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, a sensitivity of 0.063 ng/ml, and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. In validation work with n=5 per sample type, mean recovery was 91% from serum (range 83–100%), 94% from EDTA plasma (90–98%) and 95% from heparin plasma (89–102%). Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 fell within 82–110% for serum, 73–109% for EDTA plasma and 77–110% for heparin plasma.
