Monkey VWF ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey Von Willebrand Factor in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The 4-hour assay runs on a pre-coated microplate with colorimetric detection at 450 nm and is reported to be specific for Von Willebrand Factor, with no cross-reactivity observed against other analogs or variants.

Performance specifications include a measuring range of 1.563–100 ng/mL (2500 ng = 1U) and a sensitivity of <0.938 ng/mL. Reported recovery in undiluted samples (n=10) was 88%–103% (average 95%) for serum, 96%–101% (average 98%) for EDTA plasma and 90%–103% (average 99%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 (n=10 each) was 89–98% / 83–98% / 89–97% for serum, 87–102% / 86–100% / 80–94% for EDTA plasma and 87–105% / 87–93% / 87–94% for heparin plasma.

The kit is shipped at +4°C, with components stored at +4°C or −20°C according to the protocol manual. Freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
