Monkey Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGF beta 1) in serum, platelet-poor plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and samples are added; captured TGF beta 1 is detected with a biotinylated anti-TGF beta 1 antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with concentration calculated against the standard curve. The standard range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml and sensitivity is 13.4 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Reported recovery averages (n=5) are 91% for serum (range 83-99%), 89% for EDTA plasma (range 80-99%) and 90% for heparin plasma (range 82-99%). Linearity has been demonstrated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for the same three sample types.
