Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Monkey Transforming Growth Factor Alpha (TGF alpha) ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey TGF alpha in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for TGF alpha, followed by a biotinylated anti-TGF alpha detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Bound analyte is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that turns yellow after addition of the stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration calculated against a standard curve.

The stated sensitivity is 8.4 pg/ml and the product range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.
