Monkey SAA ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Monkey Serum Amyloid A ELISA Kit is a 4-hour sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey Serum Amyloid A in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for Serum Amyloid A with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, and is reactive with monkey samples.

A pre-coated microplate serves as the assay platform, with absorbance read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader. The quantitative range is 31.25-2000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL. Spike-and-recovery values were established for healthy serum (range 80%-100%, mean 91%, n=10), EDTA plasma (range 82%-98%, mean 88%, n=10) and heparin plasma (range 86%-99%, mean 92%, n=10).

Standards and samples bind to the immobilized capture antibody, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate; TMB substrate produces a colour change whose intensity is directly proportional to analyte concentration. Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer, with validated dilutions of 1:100-1:200 for healthy serum and 1:100-1:200 for healthy plasma. Components supplied include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, sample dilution buffer, biotinylated detection antibody, antibody dilution buffer, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer and plate sealers. The kit is shipped at +4°C; components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date or subjected to freeze/thaw cycles.
