Monkey RANTES ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey RANTES in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for RANTES, with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, and is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells where RANTES binds to the immobilized capture antibody; a biotinylated detection antibody then forms an antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich complex. Detection relies on an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with the colour change read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The product range is 31.25–2000 pg/mL with a reported sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL, and the assay is completed in approximately four hours. Validation data show average recoveries of 91% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma, and 91% for heparin plasma, with healthy serum and healthy plasma recommended for dilution at 1:100–1:200 following an initial 1:2 dilution in sample dilution buffer. The kit is shipped at +4°C and components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as detailed in the protocol manual; freeze/thaw cycles and use past the expiration date should be avoided.
