Monkey Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor 1 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor 1 (PAI1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is built around a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for PAI1, and detection relies on a colourimetric readout measured at 450 nm, with concentrations calculated against a standard curve.

Published performance figures include a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.08 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing returned averages of 91% for serum (n=5; range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (80–89%). Dilution linearity was evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. The protocol completes in 4 hours 30 minutes, and components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed in the manual.
