Monkey Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 1 (MCP1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

An antibody specific for MCP1 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells; following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-MCP1 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate are applied, and TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm. The reported sensitivity is <0.054 ng/ml with a standard curve range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported mean recovery values are 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma, with dilution linearity maintained at roughly 74–108% across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in the same sample types.

Read on a colorimetric microplate reader, the kit comprises a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or −20 °C as indicated on the individual vials, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
