Monkey KYN ELISA Kit

Manufactured under the Antibodies.com brand, this assay is a competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey Kynurenine in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. It is reported as specific for Kynurenine with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, and is reactive with monkey samples.

The standard range spans 7.813–500 pmol/mL with a sensitivity of 4.688 pmol/mL. The procedure runs in approximately 2 hours and uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm. During the assay, Kynurenine in standards or samples competes with immobilized Kynurenine on the plate for binding to a biotinylated anti-Kynurenine antibody. After washing, an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate is added, followed by TMB substrate and an acidic stop solution, producing a yellow product whose intensity is inversely proportional to the Kynurenine concentration.
