Monkey Interleukin 8 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey Interleukin 8 (IL-8) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips and relies on a biotinylated anti-IL-8 antibody with HRP-avidin detection, producing a colourmetric signal read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit reports a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <5.3 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. In neat samples (n=5), recovery ranges are given as 80%-102% for serum (average 91%), 81%-100% for EDTA plasma (average 90%) and 80%-89% for heparin plasma (average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is reported as 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma (all n=5). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
