Monkey Interleukin 1 Receptor Type II ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey Interleukin 1 Receptor Type II (IL-1R-2) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for IL-1R-2, supplied in a 12 x 8 well strip format. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where IL-1R-2 is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-IL-1R-2 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualize the reaction, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The reported detection range is 0.625–40 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.213 ng/ml. The assay runs in approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader. Recovery performance was assessed across serum (80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%), with dilution linearity reported for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions in each matrix. Kit components include pre-coated plate strips, lyophilized standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
