Monkey Interleukin 1 Receptor Antagonist ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the quantitative measurement of Interleukin 1 Receptor Antagonist (IL-1RA) in monkey samples. The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is reactive with monkey samples.

The assay uses pre-coated 96-well microplate strips arranged as 12 × 8 well strips and follows a sandwich enzyme immunoassay workflow: standards and samples are added to the wells and captured by an immobilised anti-IL-1RA antibody, the captured analyte is then bound by a biotinylated anti-IL-1RA antibody, detected with an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and visualised with TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. The quantitative product range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a reported sensitivity of <5.8 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 h 30 min.

Reported spike-and-recovery averages (n=5) are 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma. The kit contains a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, to be stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as indicated for each component.
