Monkey Growth Regulated Oncogene Alpha ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey CXCL1/GRO alpha in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The kit is specific for CXCL1/GRO alpha with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

Supplied by Antibodies.com, the assay runs on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where CXCL1/GRO alpha binds to the immobilised capture antibody; a biotinylated detection antibody then forms an antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich complex. Detection uses an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that turns yellow on addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm and concentration calculated against the standard curve. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours, with a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of less than 9.375 pg/mL.

Serum and plasma samples are recommended to be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer; validated dilutions include Cynomolgus monkey serum (1:2) and Rhesus monkey serum (1:2). Reported recovery averages 97% in serum (range 87–103%), 95% in EDTA plasma (88–100%) and 99% in heparin plasma (91–104%). The kit is shipped at +4°C; components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed in the Protocol Manual, must not be used past the expiration date, and freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
