Monkey Galectin 3 ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey Galectin 3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids [S1][S2]. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate with an antibody specific for Galectin 3, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-Galectin 3 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, with detection via TMB substrate solution read at 450 nm [S1].

The detection range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.07 ng/ml [S1][S2]. The assay uses rabbit host antibodies (IgG isotype) [S2] and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes [S1]. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed [S1].

Recovery performance was 80% to 102% (average 91%) in serum, 81% to 100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma, and 80% to 89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma [S1].
