Monkey Factor Related Apoptosis Ligand ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey Fas Ligand in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where Fas Ligand is captured by an immobilized antibody. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Fas Ligand Antibody binds the captured analyte, then an HRP-Avidin conjugate is added. TMB substrate is used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, with the concentration of Fas Ligand calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The product range is 12.5–800 pg/ml, with a sensitivity of <2.9 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit is reactive with monkey samples and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell lysates, tissue homogenates and cell culture supernates. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
